The permit cannot be extended. During its validity, you may apply for a residence permit on another basis under the Foreigners Act, provided you meet the requirements for that basis. A new Digital Nomad permit may be applied for six months after the previous one expires.
At least twice Slovenia’s average monthly net salary. Confirm the current threshold when applying.
Digital nomads can reunite with their family immediately, without a one-year residence requirement. Permits are not automatic: documentation and other requirements still apply.
