It can only be obtained by specialists with in-demand professions and high qualifications. A residence permit is issued for the duration of an employment contract (1 to 4 years) with the possibility of extension.

If you have a sought-after profession and a high level of qualifications, then a EU Blue Card will allow you to live, work, and relocate to Slovenia in the future.

First, you need to meet the following criteria:

✔️to have a higher education diploma with a specialist’s or master's degree (at least 5 years) or have work experience of at least 3 years,
